Sony Xperia Tipo has been announced in June, 2012 and it is Released & available in Market from August, 2012. Here is the overview of the mobile phone.
Sony Xperia Tipo comes with the support of 2G and 3G only.
The 2G supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900.
The 3G supports in 2 types HSDPA 900/2100 (ST21i)
HSDPA 850/1900/2100 (ST21a).
Sony Xperia Tipo comes with the facility of Mini-SIM. The total weight of the mobile is about 99.4g.
Display and Sound
The display of the new Xperia Tipo is of TFT, Capacitive touchscreen, provided with scratch-resistant glass protection.
Sony Xperia Tipo supports Multi Touch facility which will respond to 2 fingers at a time and it supports up to 256K colors.
It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones and Loud Speaker is also provided.
It supports Stereo FM radio with RDS.
The Call alerts in Sony Xperia Tipo are by Vibration and MP3 ringtones only.
