SONY XPERIA GO

Sony Xperia Go has been announced in May, 2012 and it is Released & available in Market from July, 2012. Here is the overview of the mobile phone.

Sony Xperia Go comes with the support of 2G and 3G only.

The 2G supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900.

The 3G supports in 2 types HSDPA 900/2100 (ST27i) 

                                          HSDPA 850/1900/2100 (ST27a).

Sony Xperia Go comes with the facility of Mini-SIM. The total weight of the mobile is about 110g.

This particular model is IP67 Certified, with dust and water proof facility. The water resistant is sharply up to 1 meter and exactly 30 minutes.

Display and Sound

The display of the new Xperia Go is of LED-backlit LCD, Capacitive touchscreen, provided with Sony mobile BRAVIA engine and scratch-resistant glass protection.

Sony Xperia Go supports Multi Touch facility which will respond to 4 fingers at a time and it supports up to 16M colors.

It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones and Loud Speaker is also provided.

 It supports Stereo FM radio with RDS.

The Call alerts in Sony Xperia Go are by Vibration and MP3 ringtones only.

Memory and Data 

The internal memory of Xperia Go supports 8 GB storage (4 GB user available) supported by 512 MB RAM.

It has the MicroSD card slot which supports up to 32 GB.

It supports GPRS and EDGE facilities, with GPRS up to 107 kbps and EDGE up to 296 kbps.

The speed of Xperia Go in HSDPA is 14.4 Mbps and in HSUPA 5.76 Mbps. 

The wireless technology in Sony Xperia Go supports wi-fi standard 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and wi-fi HotSpot.

Bluetooth and USB

It supports Bluetooth of version 3.0 with A2DP; EDR.

It comes with micro USB v2.0.

Camera

Xperia Go comes with 5 Mega pixel camera, with the rate of 2592 x 1944 pixels.

 It has a LED flash and the auto focus facility.

The camera included the features like face and smile detection, geo tagging, touch focus and 3D sweep panorama.

The Video recording is available at the rate of 720p@30fps along with video stabilization.

There is no secondary camera facility in this model.

Battery

It comes with a Non-Removable Li-ion 1305 mAh battery.

The stand by time is  up to 520 hours for 2G & 460 hours for 3G facility.

The Talk time is up to 6 hours 30 min for 2G & 5 hours 30 min for 3G.

 The music play time is up to 45 hours.
