Sony Xperia Acro S has been announced in May, 2012 and it is Released & available in Market from August, 2012. Here is the overview of the mobile phone.
It comes with the support of 2G and 3G only.
The 2G supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900.
The 3G supports HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100
This particular model is IP57 Certified, with dust and water resistant facility. The water resistant is sharply up to 1 meter and exactly 30 minutes.
Display and Sound
The display is of LED-backlit LCD, Capacitive touchscreen provided with scratch resistant shatter proof glass protection.
Sony Xperia Acro S supports Multi Touch facility which will respond to 10 fingers at a time and it supports up to 16M colors.
It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones and Loud Speaker is also provided.
It supports Stereo FM radio with RDS.The Call alerts in Sony Xperia Acro S are by Vibration and MP3 ringtones only.

The internal memory supports 16 GB storage (11 GB user available) supported by 1 GB RAM.
It has the MicroSD card slot which supports up to 32 GB.
It supports GPRS and EDGE facilities, with GPRS up to 86 kbps and EDGE up to 237 kbps.
The speed in HSDPA is 14.4 Mbps and in HSUPA 5.8 Mbps.
The wireless technology in Sony Xperia Acro S supports wi-fi standard 802.11 b/g/n, wi-fi direct, DLNA and wi-fi HotSpot.
