SONY XPERIA SL

Sony Xperia SL has been announced in August, 2012 and it is available in Market from September, 2012. Here is the overview of the mobile phone.

Sony Xperia SL comes with the support of 2G and 3G only.

The 2G supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900.

The 3G supports HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100

Sony Xperia SL comes with the facility of Micro-SIM. The total weight of the mobile is about 144g.

Display and Sound

The display of the new Xperia SL is of LED-backlit LCD, Capacitive touchscreen, with scratch-resistant glass protection.

Sony Xperia SL supports Multi Touch facility which will respond to 10 fingers at a time and it supports up to 16M colors.

It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones and Loud Speaker is also provided.

It supports Stereo FM radio with RDS.

The Call alerts in Sony Xperia SL are by Vibration and MP3 ringtones only.

Memory and Data 

The internal memory of Xperia SL supports 32 GB storage supported by 1 GB RAM.

There is no external card slot.

It supports GPRS and EDGE facilities, with GPRS up to 86 kbps and EDGE up to 237 kbps.

The speed in HSDPA is 14.4 Mbps and in HSUPA 5.8 Mbps.

The wireless technology  supports wi-fi standard 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and wi-fi HotSpot. 

Bluetooth and USB

It supports Bluetooth of version 3.0 with A2DP; EDR.

Sony Xperia SL supports Near Field Communication (NFC) .

It comes with micro USB v2.0.

Camera

Xperia SL comes with 12 Mega pixel camera, with the rate of 4000 x 3000 pixels.

 It has a LED flash and the auto focus facility.

The camera included the features like face and smile detection, geo tagging, touch focus, Image Stabilization and 3D sweep panorama.

The Video recording is available at the rate of 1080p@30fps along with video stabilization.

The secondary camera is about 1.3 MP with 720p@30fps.

Battery

It comes with a non-removable Li-ion 1750 mAh battery.

The stand by time is up to 420 hours for 2G & 420 hours for 3G facility.

The Talk time is up to 8 hours 30 min for both 2G & 3G.

The music play time is up to 25 hours.
