SONY XPERIA SP

Sony Xperia SP has been announced in March, 2013 and it is available in Market from April, 2013. Here is the overview of the mobile phone.

Sony Xperia SP comes with the support of 2G/3G and 4G as LTE service.

The 2G support GSM 850/900/1800/1900 (All Versions).

The 3G supports in 3 types HSDPA 850/900/2100 (C5303)

                                          HSDPA 850/900/1700/1900/2100 (C5302).

                                          HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 (C5306).

For the 4G service LTE 800/850/900/1800/2100/2600 (C5303) &

                             LTE 850/1700/1900/2100 (C5306)

Sony Xperia SP comes with the facility of Micro-SIM. The total weight of the mobile is about 155g.

Display and Sound

The display of the new Xperia SP is of TFT Capacitive touchscreen, with Corning Gorilla glass protection.

Sony Xperia SP supports Multi Touch facility which will respond to 10 fingers at a time and it supports up to 16M colors.

It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones and Loud Speaker is also provided.

It supports Stereo FM radio with RDS.

The Call alerts in Sony Xperia SP are by Vibration and MP3 ringtones only.

Memory and Data 

The internal memory of Xperia SP supports 8 GB storage (5.8 GB user available) supported by 1 GB RAM.

It has the MicroSD card slot which supports up to 32 GB.

It supports GPRS and EDGE facilities, with GPRS up to 86 kbps and EDGE up to 237 kbps.

The speed of Xperia SP in HSDPA is 42 Mbps and in HSUPA 5.8Mbps and LTE, Cat3, 50 Mbps UL, 100 Mbps DL.

The wireless technology in Sony Xperia SP supports wi-fi standard 802.11 a/b/g/n, Dual-band, DLNA and wi-fi HotSpot.

Camera

Xperia SP comes with 8 Mega pixel camera, with the rate of 3264 x 2448 pixels.

It has a LED flash and the auto focus facility.

The camera included the features like geo tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, HDR, sweep panorama and Image Stabilization.

The video recording facility is available at the rate of 1080p@30fps, with Video stabilization.

The secondary video facility is available in VGA format.

Battery

It comes with a Non-Removable Li-ion 2370 mAh battery.

The stand by time is up to 635 hours for 2G & 734 hours for 3G facility.

The Talk time is up to 10 hours 25 min for 2G & 19 hours for 3G.

The music play time is up to 39 hours.
