SONY XPERIA E

Sony Xperia E has been announced in December, 2012 and it is available in Market from March, 2013. 

Here is the overview of the mobile phone.

Sony Xperia E comes with the support of 2G and 3G service only.

The 2G support GSM 850/900/1800/1900 

The 3G supports in 2 types HSDPA 900/2100 (C1505)

                                          HSDPA 850/1900/2100 (C1504).

Sony Xperia E comes with the facility of Mini SIM. The total weight of the mobile is about 115.7g.

Display and Sound

The display of the new Xperia E is of TFT Capacitive touchscreen, with Scratch Resistant glass protection.

Sony Xperia E supports Multi Touch facility which will respond to 2 fingers at a time and it supports up to 256K colors.

It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones and Loud Speaker is also provided.

It supports Stereo FM radio with RDS.

The Call alerts in Sony Xperia E are by Vibration and MP3 ringtones only.

Memory and Data 

The internal memory of Xperia E supports 4 GB storage (2 GB user available) supported by 512 MB RAM.

It has the MicroSD card slot which supports up to 32 GB.

It supports GPRS and EDGE facilities, with GPRS up to 86 kbps and EDGE up to 237 kbps.

The speed of Xperia E in HSDPA is 7.2 Mbps and in HSUPA 5.76 Mbps.

The wireless technology in Sony Xperia E supports Wi-Fi standard 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and Wi-Fi HotSpot.

Bluetooth and USB

It supports Bluetooth of version 2.1 with EDR.

It comes with micro USB v2.0.

Camera

Xperia E comes with 3.15 Mega pixel camera, with the rate of 2048 x 1536 pixels.

It has Geo-Tagging facility only. 

There is no LED flash and the auto focus facility.

The video recording facility is available in VGA@30fps.

There is no secondary camera facility in this model.

Battery

It comes with a Li-ion 1530 mAh battery.

The stand by time is up to 530 hours for 2G & 530 hours for 3G facility.

The Talk time is up to 6 hours 12 min for 2G & 6 hours 18 min for 3G.
