SONY XPERIA ZR

Sony Xperia ZR has been announced in May, 2013 and it is expected to be released in Q2 of 2013.

 Here is the overview of the mobile phone.

Sony Xperia ZR comes with the support of 2G/3G and 4G as LTE service.

The 2G support GSM 850/900/1800/1900 (All Versions).

The 3G supports in 2 types HSDPA 850/900/2100 (C5503) 

                                          HSDPA 850/900/1700/1900/2100 (C5502).

For the 4G service LTE 800/850/900/1800/2100/2600 (C5503).

Sony Xperia ZR comes with the facility of Micro-SIM. The total weight of the mobile is about 138g.

This particular model is IP58 Certified, with dust and water proof facility. The water resistant is sharply upto 1 meter and exactly 30 minutes.

Display and Sound

The display of the new Xperia ZR is of TFT Capacitive touchscreen, with Shatter proof and scratch-resistant glass protection.

Sony Xperia ZR supports Multi Touch facility which will respond to 10 fingers at a time and it supports upto 16M colors.

It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones and Loud Speaker is also provided.

 It supports Stereo FM radio with RDS.

The Call alerts in Sony Xperia Z are by Vibration and MP3 ringtones only.

Memory and Data 

The internal memory of Xperia ZR supports 8 GB storage supported by 2 GB RAM.

It has the MicroSD card slot which supports up to 32 GB.

It supports GPRS and EDGE facilities, with GPRS upto 107 kbps and EDGE upto 296 kbps.

The speed of Xperia ZR in HSDPA is 42 Mbps and in HSUPA 5.8 Mbps and LTE, Cat3, 50 Mbps UL, 100 Mbps DL.

The wireless technology in Sony Xperia ZR supports wi-fi standard 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, wi-fi direct and wi-fi HotSpot.

Bluetooth and USB

It supports Bluetooth of version 4.0 with A2DP.

Sony Xperia Z supports Near Field Communication (NFC) .

It comes with micro USB v2.0 (MHL).

Camera

Xperia ZR comes with 13.1 Mega pixel camera, with the rate of 4128 x 3096 pixels.

 It has a LED flash and the auto focus facility.

The camera included the features like face detection, geo tagging, touch focus, High Dynamic Image Ranging (HDR) and Image Stabilization and sweep panorama.

The Video recording is available at the rate of 1080p@30fps along with HDR.

The secondary camera is available in VGA format.

It comes with a Li-ion 2300 mAh battery.

The stand by time is up to 470 hours for 2G & 520 hours for 3G facility.
