SONY XPERIA V

Sony Xperia V has been announced in August, 2012 and it is available in Market from December, 2012. Here is the overview of the mobile phone.

Sony Xperia V comes with the support of 2G/3G and 4G as LTE service.

The 2G support GSM 850/900/1800/1900 

The 3G supports  HSDPA 850/900/2100 

For the 4G service LTE 800/850/900/1800/2100/2600 

Sony Xperia V comes with the facility of Micro-SIM. The total weight of the mobile is about 120g.

This particular model is IP57 Certified, with dust and water resistant facility. The water proof is sharply up to 1 meter and exactly 30 minutes.

Display and Sound

The display of the new Xperia V is of TFT Capacitive touchscreen, with scratch-resistant glass protection.

Sony Xperia V supports Multi Touch facility which will respond to 10 fingers at a time and it supports up to 16M colors.

It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones and Loud Speaker is also provided.

It supports Stereo FM radio with RDS.

The Call alerts in Sony Xperia V are by Vibration and MP3 ringtones only.

Memory and Data 

The internal memory of Xperia V supports 8 GB storage supported by 1 GB RAM.

It has the MicroSD card slot which supports up to 32 GB.

It supports GPRS and EDGE facilities, with EDGE up to 237 kbps.

The speed of Xperia V in HSPA+ is DL is 42 Mbps and UL is 5.8Mbps and LTE, Cat3, 50 Mbps UL, 100 Mbps DL.

The wireless technology in Sony Xperia V supports wi-fi standard 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual band, DLNA, wi-fi HotSpot.

Bluetooth and USB

It supports Bluetooth of version 4.0 with A2DP.

Sony Xperia V supports Near Field Communication (NFC) .

It comes with micro USB v2.0 (MHL).

Camera

Xperia V comes with 13 Mega pixel camera, with the rate of 4128 x 3096 pixels.

 It has a LED flash and the auto focus facility.

The camera included the features like face and smile detection, geo tagging, touch focus, Image Stabilization and 3D sweep panorama.

The Video recording is available at the rate of 1080p@30fps along with video stabilization.

The secondary camera is available in VGA format.

It comes with a Li-ion 1750 mAh battery.

The stand by time is up to 300 hours for 2G & 400 hours for 3G facility.

The Talk time is up to 7 hours for 2G & 7 hours for 3G.
